Kelvin is a practicing Architect registered with the Singapore Board of Architects (BOA), a corporate member of the Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA), and an accredited ID-Class 1 practitioner under the Singapore Interior Design Accreditation Council (SIDAC).
He attained his Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) from The University of Melbourne and Bachelor of Environmental Design, Architecture (B.Env.Des.) from the University of Tasmania. Kelvin is also a Diploma in Interior Design (Dip.Int.Des.) graduate from LaSalle-SIA College of the Arts. He was placed in the Dean’s List in 2011 and 2012, and was also awarded the Top Student in his graduating cohort in his first degree.
As part of Singapore ArchiFest 2020, Kelvin was invited as a panel speaker on the “Why Architect?” forum.
Kelvin previously helmed the position of Senior Architect in RichardHO Architects and also undertook associate and junior positions in SCDA Architects, Aamer Architects and Surbana Jurong Consultants.
Kelvin believes that it is important to embody Architecture and Interior with a good play of light and textures, and to instil a sense of spatial hierarchy so that when all of these spatial qualities harmonises, one’s sensorial experience can be stimulated and elevated.
